Redoan Rony has devoted more than a decade to the Bangladeshi media industry. He is the creative force behind some of Bangladesh’s most popular TV series, including “Housefull,” “Fnf,” “Behind The Scene,” “Pata Jharar Din,” and more. His outstanding contributions have earned him a slew of prestigious awards, including the Meril-Prothom Alo Award, CJFB Award, and Bachsach Award, among others. Notably, his directorial debut film, “Chorabali” (2012), clinched the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Dialogue, while the film itself received five National Awards, cementing Redoan Rony’s position as a prominent figure in the Bangladeshi entertainment industry.
Redoan Rony began his career as an assistant director with Mostofa Sarwar Farooki in the Chabial Team. He later created several television fictions and series. Following the success of “Chorabali,” Redoan Rony continued to make his mark in the film industry. In 2016, he directed his second feature film, “Ice Cream,” showcasing his creative evolution and commitment to the world of cinema.
Following the success of his debut film "Chorabali," which won five Bangladesh National Film Awards, he went on to direct his second feature film, "Ice Cream," in 2016. Currently, he is planning for his third film.
As a producer, he contributed to various projects, including Morichika, Networker Baire, Munshigiri, Khachar Bhitor Ochin Pakhi, Jaago Bahey, Shaaticup, Taan, Redrum, Gunin, Nikhoj, Overtrump, Surongo and numerous others.

He established a production company named Popcorn Entertainment, which has been actively operating in the Bangladeshi media industry for over a decade.
Chorabali (Bengali: চোরাবালি, English: Quicksand) is a 2012 Bangladeshi action thriller film written and directed by Redoan Rony. It stars Indraneil Sengupta, Joya Ahsan, Shahiduzzaman Selim and many more. It was Rony’s debut film. It released on 21 December 2012.
Synopsis: Sumon, is compelled to grow up in the city’s underworld as mafia lord Osman Ali’s killer machine. After killing a pregnant woman, who is Osman Ali’s girlfriend, carrying his illegitimate child, Sumon’s conscience leads him to defy Ali’s order.
